What is Reefer? | Cannabis definitions

A marijuana slang time period regularly referring to a joint. Reefer was once concurrently popularized and stigmatized by using the Thirties melodramatic propaganda movie “Reefer Madness,” in which hashish lures customers down a risky rabbit hole. In the 1971 e book “Cannabis Alchemy” through R. Gold, he refers to “impregnated joints,” or joints with delivered hashish extract, as reefers.
